Boys and Girls Club
The Boys and Girls Club offers positive after-school and summer programs and activities for school-age students. The club is offered at Fruit Valley Community Learning Center Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. On non-school days and during the summer, students may attend the Hazel Dell or JPC clubs.
Fruit Valley students between the ages of 5 and 10 who are enrolled in kindergarten through fifth grade can join the club. Applications can be obtained at the club or an orientation. There is an orientation for parents of students who are new to the program every Monday and Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the Fruit Valley Club.
For more information or to attend an orientation, please contact Director Emily Crooks onsite or at 360-977-8575.
Athletics
Athletics are a fun way for students to learn sportsmanship and get exercise. Girls and boys in fourth and fifth grades can participate in volleyball, basketball, soccer and track at Fruit Valley.
Safety Patrol
Fruit Valley 5th-graders have an opportunity to show their responsibility and leadership as a member of the school safety patrol. Working with adults, the safety patrol helps students and parents to safely cross nearby streets before and after school. Interested students may apply with Safety Patrol.
